Application
Any BHA is subject to lodging in the well. The Taylor Made Hydraulic Release Tool is used directly above the BHA and can be released by dropping a steel ball and pressuring up to a known valve. Once separated, the upper portion of the release is retrieved from the well bore, leaving the lower portion in the well attached to the BHA, with an external fishing neck.
